"The Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur used to be the tallest buildings in the world until they were overtaken by Taipei 101 in 2004. But they're still a major landmark and striking buildings in their own right.
"With their glass-and-steel exterior, they look a bit as if they're made of pewter (for which Malaysia's also famous) in the right light conditions, like twilight."
