"Actually, this portrait more or less fell into my lap. I was sitting at the bar on Christmas Night and this young lady plonked herself down on the stool beside me, put her arms on the bar, rested her head on her arms and gazed up at me. I grabbed the camera, zoomed in tight and took the shot – one of the best portraits I've taken for a few weeks! Her parents were chuffed to bits, too."
