British Expat Ltd: Morality Policy
This site will not publish offensive content. As for what kind of language is acceptable, we take our cue from the mainstream British newspaper, The Times. If it's acceptable there, it's acceptable here. That said, britishexpat.com will never publish any pornography, racism, homophobia, hate stuff, or any other weird or offensive material.
This site is not intended for children, and some of it may well be unsuitable for them. Thus there may be the odd eyebrow raiser, for some, but we don't intend or expect to shock anyone. If you're the type who wants everything happy-clappy, you're probably in the wrong place. And we know few British expats who are like that, so with luck the pitch will be fine for you. But if you do find something offensive, please let us know and we'll consider your point of view when deciding whether it stays or not.
Forum
The principles above apply to postings on the forum. We trust our registered users to use their good judgement in deciding what's appropriate to post. But we reserve the right to bar from the forum anyone who persistently causes offence to others by their postings.
