I applied for this last month in southwestern ontario, and received a letter yesterday, to sit the test on the 28th of June 2007.

I was sent the book ( a look at canada ), which am reading now, and I am also looking at the test questions on the richmond BC library and the ones on the Toronto library website.

There are 20 question on the test, and you have to get 12 right. The 12 must include voting questions.

thx all....just took th etest today,a nd got 20/20 and was done in 5mins. Very Happy

The oath ceremony should be next month. The pretty much mark your paper after u finish outside the test hall.

Although I read the book they sent, the toronto library mock test, had all the question they asked.

Getting close to be a Canadian eh, but am still a londoner deep down and theat ain't going to change Very Happy

I can now start applying for govt jobs that they give canadians preference, before others

it's good to know about the toronto library mock test.

I won't be doing for a few years yet.

key to the test is, don't waste time on local mp and mayor and all that, just concentrate on the federal history, prime minister, 1st prime minister, governor general, canada day, and the aboriginal history, and premier of your province, and voting questions of course.

You had to get questions 16 and 17 right, and 1 from 18-20. These are voting and rights questions.

So I received a letter yesterday, asking me to appear on the 2nd of Aug for the citizenship ceremony. This is 2 months after I first applied Very Happy

Am finally becoming a Canuck Shocked
