Cost of petrol in Malta

You're more likely to get seasick on the bumpy roads than on the ferry... Will you feel better when you know the details of importing your car or bike?

Cost of petrol in Malta

Postby Malkity » Fri 20 Jun 2008 19:50 GMT

I haven't found anything on the board about the current cost of gas & diesel, sorry petrol. Is it about the same as UK? Here in Panama we pay $4.80 for a gallon of diesel and $4.50 petrol.

Thanks. So diesel would be about $6.51 a gallon. Bit more than what we're paying now!

Well yes...maybe they would be shorter! At that price, then it would be a bit over $7

Hi Gozomark, I assume thats for a litre? We're paying $2.40 a gallon for diesel in Panama! Not sure what the conversion is now with the exchange rates changing!

I believe USD 2.40 per US gallon is around €0.45 per litre.

From the press today, someone has been going around petrol stations with a measuring jug and claims garages giving up to 10% less than reading on the pump - wouldn't surprise me in the least!
