Postby esource2003 » Wed 16 Apr 2008 16:59

Hi my name is patrick and I am thinking of moving to St Lucia to Choiseul I stayed there last year and have been doing due diligence on the area. I have spoken to the health minster last Sept also in relation to setting up a Physical therapy centre also. Could anyone supply me with more information on the area, cost of land (looking for around 2 acres) and just what you think about a physical therapy centre/sport injury clinic coming there.

Thanks

You can also emails me if you like with a vast wealth of information. all appreciated

Hello Patrick!!

I have just stumbled across this site as I have been looking for info on living in St.Lucia. I am actually moving to Rodney Bay in 3 weeks - Oct 3rd 2008 - to work at Bayside Physiotherapy Clinic.
Are you living in St.Lucia already?

Thinking of moving to St Lucia

Postby terrybent » Tue 28 Oct 2008 17:21

Hi I currently live in Barbados, where I moved 4 years ago, and am thinking of a change! Are there many ex pat Brits in St Lucia, how are they received and does anyone know if the majority tourists are Brits and North Americans? Thanks

British Expats living in St Lucia

Postby Angel Face » Mon 11 May 2009 12:47

Hi all,

I moved to St Lucia 1 week ago. I'm living in Rodney Bay with my fiance who is working as a Quantity Surveyor in Castries. I am a lady of leisure until I can sort out a work permit and find employment. If anyone fancies braving the weather to meet up sometime let me know. It would be great to meet some others expats.

Thanks
Becky

hey all,
Haven't been on here for a while. Didn't realise this thread had got quite long!

Congrats to those of you that have just moved over here - it's nice to know there are other expats around here somewhere!!

AngelFace - How are you finding life here? I normally come up to Castries a couple of times a month (at least if not more) - If you fancy meeting up for a coffee someplace, let me know.

terrybent - I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where!) a while ago that there are about 1500 expats in St Lucia..even now I've only seen a few around the south, expats normally live around Rodney Bay/Castries/Gros Islet area. It's a close call as to whether the majority of tourists are brits or americans, I don't think it's more of one than the other. HTH?

expat living in St Lucia

Postby Peterdoome » Sun 10 Sep 2017 19:20

Hey,

Did a search and couldn't find anything. Looking for information on renting a car in St. Lucia. Most appear to be at the other end of the island which is about an hour and a half away from the airport. We're staying at Bay Gardens Beach Resort, which is near most of the rental agencies offices. Found a bunch on line; anyone have any insight?

Thanks
