Emigrating to south west WA in ?next 12 months

Hi everyone, I'm new to all this!
My skills recognition is being processed at the moment and I have just started to put the paperwork together for :?: a STNI visa. Have got contacts with WACHS etc.
I would appreciate any helpfull info/advice I can get re: removals, what to take, short term rented/furnished accomodation in ?Bunbury ?Albany area. Can accomodation be sorted before leaving the UK?What's with changing electrical plugs :? ? My partner is a Bike (KTM) fanatic and we have a ten year old son (computer games/jujitsu mad).
Really excited about migrating but this one is a biggy, not like moving to another town! :D

Hi

I have only just found this forum, as no one has replied here I will try to answer some of your questions.

For removals the answer is bring everything.

Electrical plugs will need changing but you can do that yourself.

For older TV's you may need a digital box (less than $100).

Rentals in Perth are in very short supply at the moment, not sure about down south. Look on the internet for real estate agents in the places you are interested in, $250-$300 a week should get you a decent house, you may need to sign up for a minimum of 6 months.

Kind regards
Chris

Thanks for the info, just got my skills assessment back and will be applying for a STNI visa. :D
Apparently there is a chronic shortage of OT'S in Aus, can't wait to get there.

Welcome to BE. Congrats on your skills assessment, and hope things run smoothly.
