Possibly moving for one year to Madrid with Cat..

Any advise on bringing my cat into Spain. If it's too risky, I won't bother going at all!

You will need a pet passport for the cat. Your vet should be able to advise on the procedure, otherwise the Dept of Health website has the info.
Otherwise there are no major obstacles, although your cat may not like the heat; not a problem if you have a place with air con.
Vets bills here (if needed) are considerably less than in the UK.
