UK/NZ electrics

Can any body tell me if UK electrical goods are compatible with NZ electrics, +/- plugs. I would like to be able to bring my computer :?

Most electrical goods you can just swap the plugs - we brought over a computer. I recall maybe just having to buy an adaptor for the internet connection too. However, I wouldn't advise bringing over much electrical stuff though as hard to find parts if they go wrong ( i.e fridges etc) and ovens are normally sold with the house anyway.
Good luck with the move - did you sort the dog transportation out?

I only really want to bring the pooter as its full of good stuff and it'd save time and effort on getting a new one. No word on the dog yet, gonna wait till nearer the time and get a few quotes. its anything between £1800 and 3000 up to now :(

No problem with electrics. I'd say bring anything of that type that you can with you, as while grocery shopping is cheap, appliances and electrical etc are expensive and the choice limited- even with the cost of shipping, if your stuff is half decent, bring it along. Unless it's a CRT monitor! Just like in the UK, they're practically given away.
