Seeking advice!

Bonjour everyone. We are looking to buy a holiday home in France next year, and are considering southern Brittany, the Western Loire or Charente, as we are familiar with these areas. But they are not exclusive. We want somewhere thats within reasonable driving distance from the ports as we have two dogs and dont want to stress them with too long a journey. We love France and the French way of life, so are open to suggestions. We adore Nantes, and Roscoff, and La Rochelle and Josselin, so would be happy to be anywhere near any of these places, so all suggestions would be gratefully recieved. Merci. X

Sounds as if you want a coastal location, and you know the areas that appeal to you (and me, for that matter). I'd say that your best bet would be to subscribe to a few online estate agents' sites for a while, and check out likely properties against Google Maps to see what the journey to & fro would be like.
