Anglophones around the Compiegne area

Postby KimKolene60 » Wed 05 Oct 2011 16:39

Hi,
I’m a mum of two: a boy of 5 and a girl of 2 ½
I work in Paris but live about 20 minutes outside of Compiegne.
I would really like to make friends and to join Anglophone play groups, associations etc
Any information would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Kim

Hi Kim

Welcome to our forum. I'm sure we'll be able to help you soon. It sounds like fun to work in Paris. I'm only saying that because I envy you for the food you'll have available there. Ooh la la! I love French food.

Anyway, maybe someone will come along with some info about playgroups. Hope so.

Cheers

Good luck with your search for local groups. If you do a Google search for 'maternelle compiegne' you'll find a list of 16 public maternelles. Even if you don't send your children to one of them, it could be worth visiting them. You might meet somoen useful.

Welcome Ilona. It's very quiet here these days, but do check back as you never know whether someone further up the thread has something to contribute.
