Have you read this excerpt from Iain Banks' latest novel?

Thanks, Ruggie.

This is a must-get.

The blurb on Iain Banks's site describes it thus:

"Full of his trademark warmth, humanity and inventiveness, this wonderfully vivid story of family turmoil, compromised loyalties and hidden origins is Iain Banks's most compelling novel since The Crow Road. "

It seems a bit of a strange excerpt to choose, though. Don't you think so?

Here's our Abe Books link to it if anyone's interested. They're currently listing suppliers from UK, US, and Germany.
