Mark, its worth updating that you collect your new cards from Evans Building now, not Melita Street. Its the main reception (straight through the door), not the EU applications department at the side of Evans building

A small update - when you walk in through the door, turn left and you'll see a window in front of you, and possibly a small queue of people. The title beside the window "ID card collection" kind of gives it away

Only takes 1 minute - hand over your docs, they go away, bring back your file with the card in an envelope, get you to sign one slip of paper and you're done. Took me about 10 minutes due to a few people in front of me.

Hello, I have 3 children (age from 3 to 12). Do I really need to bring all of them all the way to Valletta Evans building to pick the residence card? Would not the Mother alone suffice? Thanks for a feedback.

I'm off to Evans building tomorrow to change my address on my ID card, and to change from self-sufficient to employed.

Taking:
- Original passport
- Photocopy of passport
- Original ID card (with old address obviously)
- Photocopy of ID card (probably not necessary)
- Employment Contract
- CEA Form A
- ETC engagement form (downloaded from jobsplus website)
- Form ID1A, with "change in address" ticked

I'll let you know how I get on!

I would also take recent bank/credit card statements proving you have been here for the last three months - its not on the official list, but they are asking for this in Gozo, at least for self sufficient applicants, and presumably also self employed (maybe not employed)
