Learning to sail

Postby viduka » Sat 29 Nov 2008 15:48

Hi everyone, me and my wife are going to be living in Malta from the 10th Feb until 7th April 09 in the Sliema area. We would love to learn to sail a small dingy & would appreciate any advice on where to go for lessons & what sort of cost we would be looking at.

Thanks in advance

Peter.

Yes, there is a school that operates in Marsamxett harbour but I have completely forgotten the name, which is no help to anyone. I would suggest you start off by trying the Royal Malta Yacht club, they should have something - or at least some information.

some info is here

http://www.nauti-links.com/pages/2692cb4c/

however, their website is dead

as they are a non-profit-making organisation, they can be mentioned here - other ones are listed on the recommended suppliers boards
