HP Photosmart 2575 All-In-One

A friend bought one of these and the paper fed did not work. He took it back and they exchanged it OK, but the second machine has now developed problems, also with the paper feed.

As the store exchange period has elapsed, he has to deal with HP, who will not give him his money back, or let him change to a different model. They will only give him another 2575.

He does not really want to do that, and wonders if anyone has heard of particular problems with this model.

Remember that everything that Fred Astaire did, Ginger Rogers did too; except she did it backwards and wearing high heels!

Alan,
I have owned two of these HP All-in-one printer, scanners and I will not own another. Maybe this was bad luck for me but they where both total disasters and cost me a lot of wasted time.

To be honest if you are looking for a printer and a scanner, scanner/copier it really is worth looking at a separate printer and scanner, I have a "HP" 1220 c printer and a cheap Epson scanner, both have served me well and in-fact the printer I have had for 3 years without any faults, the scanner for 1.5, yes I had the 1220 c from even before I tried the All-in-ones. Don't know know why I even bothered with them although on reflection it was probably to try and save space, in my case I shouldn't have bothered! lol
